Spirit Horse Vineyards is a 100% woman-owned boutique winery that empowers community and connection through delicious wines, unique member experiences and philanthropy. Founded in 2013, Spirit Horse offers a roster of limited production wines from around the world. From our Napa Valley Estate wines in California to our Willamette Valley Oregon Pinot Noirs and Rogue Valley Rosé and Sparkling, we are committed to sharing exclusive wines and member experiences from the best vineyards the world has to offer.

Our original mission was to create a community of wine lovers that we were not seeing in the world - where members know the winery owner and who makes their wine, where they enjoy a strong connection with other members, and where they can purchase wine knowing that it gives back to the greater good. Only 10% of wine makers are women and only 3% of winery owners are women. We are here to change that conversation and in parallel, help the next generation of girls THRIVE.

Wine acts as a catalyst for connection and celebration, allowing a transcendence from our noisy world. At Spirit Horse, our intention is to spur special shared experiences and use them as a vehicle for positive change. We want to live in a world where incredible wine and giving back go hand in hand. Our wines are not only delicious, but also support the local communities from which the grapes are sourced. We help power the Spirit Horse Riding Center rescue horse ranch and therapeutic riding center in Napa, in addition to other philanthropic organizations around the globe.

An Oregon native, Heather Rader is a high-energy  corporate executive turned wine entrepreneur. After earning a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Oregon and before working in the wine world, Heather hustled for the NFL sponsorships division and in sales at Monster.com plus a variety of start-ups. Now living her dream, she is the Founder and Owner of Spirit Horse Vineyards, a winery that brings community together to help the next generation of girls thrive. With Spirit Horse Vineyards, Heather created a company that merges her passion for fine wine with community, empowering connection and fun, one sip at a time.
